Descrizione
Part of the Ibanez Axe Design Lab Series, this tight 9-string electric guitar boasts a seriously extended range and features an innovative solid body and a 28-inch scale length so the tuning remains stable and even the low C# string stays in pitch. While the 5-piece maple/walnut neck is naturally a little wider than standard, the relatively flat Wizard-9 carve combines with a 37.4"-radiussed Macassar ebony fretboard and 24 jumbo frets to keep the whole effortlessly playable.
The RG9PBT: A Massive Mix of Active and Passive Humbucker and Single-Coil Sounds
So the warm, mid-rich core sound shaped by the RG-style nyatoh body and poplar burl top is amplified in full, Ibanez have gone with a tried-and-tested combo of alnico and ceramic Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers. Add that to the push-pull volume pot and the fitted coil-tap switch, and you've got all you need to toggle between myriad voicings. To keep its forceful 9-string sound in check, the Ibanez RG9PBT comes finished with a Gibraltar Standard II-9 fixed bridge and a GraphTech nut.

absolutely amazing, all the hardware is top notch, great quality, and when it arrived i realised it was already tuned, literally straight out of the box into the amp and away you go. great pickups as well. bit unfortunate that ibanez didnt build it with locking tuners, but not detrimental, again, absolutely blown away with it, thanks Bax!
